The Queensgate Business Alliance works with the City of Cincinnati and officials from Hamilton County and the State of Ohio to represent existing businesses on the following issues to assure a strong and healthy future:

  • Land development
  • Transportation
  • Safety
  • Environment

GO Cincinnati: An independent study commissioned by the City in 2008 identified Queensgate as one of three neighborhoods for potential growth and opportunities (“GO Cincinnati”). The study more specifically recommends workforce development initiatives to stimulate growth for our neighborhood and suggests that the corridor is well-suited for a “green industrial” business park to attract businesses in the emerging green economy.

Future of I-75: Queensgate is one of four neighborhoods identified as significant for the revitalization of I-75. This is a multi-million dollar federal highway project that will impact our community over the next 15-20 years. Queensgate is most easily accessed from I-75, so the Queensgate Business Alliance has been involved in making sure that replacement plans include important exit(s) to our neighborhood.

High-speed rail: Union Terminal is being considered as the main Cincinnati station for the future high-speed, light rail system connecting major cities in Ohio.
